At one point, Hazel says, "Cancer books suck." Is this a book about cancer? Did you have trouble picking up the book to read it? What were you expecting? Were those expectations met...or did the book alter your ideas?

This is not a book about cancer and how tragic it is and the effects or it at all! Going in to begin the book after hearing what it was about and after reading some of it I didn't have any trouble picking it up to read it at all. At first I was expecting this to be a book more about cancer than what it really is about. Those expectations were not met AT ALL and I am happy about that! This book is way better then i expected it to be. I thought it would be really sad even just starting out. This book is so funny and good and is not about cancer but about friendship and love. This book is just so good everyone should read it.
