At one point, Hazel says, "Cancer books suck." Is this a book about cancer? Did you have trouble picking up the book to read it? What were you expecting? Were those expectations met...or did the book alter your ideas?
When Hazel says “Cancer books suck” I was thinking that “The Fault In Our Stars” IS about cancer. But now that I think of it, this book does have cancer in it but mostly its about how people fall in love even though they have a fault in their lives. Like In Chapter 2, Pg 23 when they talk about Augustus's fake leg. How in Chapter 8, Pg 177 they talk about how Hazel’s lungs don't work properly and that shes going to die. I did not have trouble reading the book at all, I’m so into it that I’m dying to read on, the book has so many emotions running through it that I want to keep reading to try to keep up! I was expecting to get attracted to the book. And yes I am VERY attracted to the book!
I really like when you said "this book does have cancer in it but mostly its about how people fall in love even though they have fault" its a really good quote and i feel like it comes from the heart(:
